Pottery with Gene Polson $75/person
We have created a wonderful new space in our lower level that is just for pottery! We have 4 wheels setup and Gene Polson will again be here for beginner to intermiediate instruction on throwing clay on a wheel.
All supplies and clay included, opportunity to make several items. Studio/practice time available between classes. Space is limited in order to give you maximum time on the wheel and for individual attention. Classes held 3 Thursdays each month from 6:00 - 9:00 PM

David R. Becker, TWSA Artist, Illustrator, and Art Instructor.
Since 1961, David has spent all of his artistic life and career in the city of Chicago. Becker studied at American Academy of Art in Chicago, and is the reason that a large majority of his subject matter comes from his life here in the city that he loves so much.
After studing at The American Academy of Art in Chicago, Becker went into illustrating for a major advertising agency J. Walter Thompson and later for Foote Cone and Belding. He also started teaching around the country, right out of school, but always found time for his favorite ambition, creating fine art paintings.
Becker is the author of Watercolor Composition Made Easy, and How to Sketch with Watercolor. He has had two different articles published in International Artist Magazine and in Watercolor Magic. Has reached signature status to the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, and has won numerous awards for his work from watercolor societies around the country.
A minimum deposit of $50 is required for registration for this class. Balance will be due no later than May 1, 2018 and no refunds will be given after this date.

Wednesdays, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Students work independently so there is no set session. Plan to complete your first painting in 3 lessons (6 hours). Supplies are included for your first painting while you try the medium. Learn the watercolor techniques Jean uses to create detailed watercolor paintings. Classes are designed for beginner – intermediate watercolor artists. Drawing/sketching skills are not required. Students will follow Jean’s step by step examples and demonstrations to create a watercolor painting.
Wednesdays, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
