Submission Dates and Deadline: Friday, May 22nd-June 6th
The Art on Parade show is an exhibition featuring local and regional artists, and is open to all media. The call for submissions is open to all artists over the age of 18 residing in the states of Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Nebraska
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Pieces will be selected in a jurying process. Submission does not guarantee selection. Multiple pieces may be selected. LMAC reserves the right to refuse any artwork for any reason.
DELIVERY & RETURN
Selected works must be hand-delivered / received by 4PM, June 10th. Shipping to and from the Le Mars Arts Center is the responsibility of the artist. Include any specific installation or handling instructions, if necessary.

Artist Notification of Selected Works: Late Evening June 7th.
Delivery Due Date: June 8th-June 10th, 1-4PM
Opening Reception: June 17th, 11:30AM-1PM, immediately following Ice Cream Days Parade
Last Date of Exhibition: July 29th, 2023
Artwork Pickup Dates: June 29th-30th, 1-5PM
ABOUT US
The Le Mars Arts Center is a non-profit community art center located in downtown Le Mars, Iowa, the Ice Cream Capitol of the World. Housed in a historic Carnegie Library building since 1976, the Le Mars Arts Center is dedicated to celebrating Fine Artists throughout the United States with 6-8 rotating exhibits every year, and a retail gallery shop. The LMAC serves the people of Siouxland with art classes, outreach, an open art studio, and exhibition gallery. The Le Mars Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) funded through memberships, donations, and grants including the Gilchrist Foundation and the Iowa Arts Council.

- Up to 5 individual pieces or 5 sets may be entered. Work submitted must be original and have been completed within the last 2 years. The only size restriction is that packages must fit through a 42×83” door, and weigh less than 100 lbs.
- Submission by high-quality digital images is required. The jurors will selections by viewing the submitted images, and images may be used on the Le Mars Arts Center website, and in marketing materials. Artists may submit 2 different digital images of each 3-dimensional artwork. Images must be .jpg/.jpeg/.png file type.
- Work cannot be withdrawn before the end of the exhibit.
- Submit artwork images and Artist’s Statement to lemarsarts@gmail.com.
